PROPOSED METHOD:
Introduction:
+/- 10 min. for shortly self presentation of
participants (Name – Country – Association – Aim).
1st part:
+/- 50 minutes for: Chair, Facilitator + 3 prepared
interventions (each ten minutes…)
2nd part:
+/-1h for free intervention, exchanges, evaluations,
questions
Conclusion:
+/- 15 min, feed back of Notes keeper in order to be
sure don’t lost important ideas & evaluations.
Preparing Round Table: Chair at 7:30 pm will participate
with other Chairs and Coordinator of Conference in
meeting preparing Round Table of Friday.

- Mission:
PRAKSIS (Programs of Development, Social Support and
Medical Cooperation) is an independent, not for profit,
non-governmental organization.
Its main target is the
creation, application and implementation of social and
medical act programs. Those programs have
been providing, according to an operational philosophy
of a holistic approach, medical/ pharmaceutical care,
psychosocial and advocacy services to vulnerable groups,
irrespective of its origin, religion, gender, race,
cultural and linguistic diversity.
- Objectives:
PRAKSIS overall objective is the mitigation of social
exclusion and support to vulnerable groups by the
provision of medical, legal/ advocacy and psychosocial
services. Also: i) The promotion of solidarity and
volunteerism; volunteer training in how to combat social
and economic exclusion. ii) The cooperation with other
Non-Governmental Organizations with the objective of
establishing a dialogue with the community and
government bodies. iii) The cooperation with local
authorities as well as the creation of Networks, FORA
and consortiums.
- Target groups: Its
beneficiaries refer to every economic and social
excluded population, both natives and foreigners, such
as legal or illegal economic immigrants, asylum seekers/refugees,
drug-addicts, roma, trafficking victims, homeless,
ex-prison inmates, prison inmates, street children that
are subject of discrimination and face limited access to
health, labour, housing services; psychosocial and legal
support.

- Mission:
ARSIS Association for the Social Support of Youth is a
Non Governmental Organization, specialized in the social
support of youths and the advocacy of youth rights.
Arsis was established in 1992, with its headquarters in
Athens and brunches in Thessalonica, Volos, Larissa,
Karditsa and Tirana. ARSIS’ mission is to take actions
for the prevention of youth exclusion.
- Objective:
Arsis develops new methods and tools for youth support,
organizes and participates in networks for social
solidarity, cooperates with public and private services
and promotes improved methods for the social policy of
youths.
- Target:
ARSIS offers its services to young individuals (15-25
years old) who live under conditions of poverty,
neglection, victimization, conflict, disapproval,
exploitation, isolation, racism or are having problems
with the law, are institutionalized, have dropped out of
school, don’t have a family or a place to live and
generally live under difficult conditions.
