BACKGROUND

 2000 Lisbon Strategy : The number of people living below the poverty line and in social
   exclusionin the Union is unacceptable.
Steps must be taken to make a decisive impact on the
   eradication of poverty ... by 2010  !

 2006 Evaluation of Lisbon Strategy: The true causes of poverty and exclusion are far from
   being eradicated in Europe.

 2009 Today: 79 million people currently living in poverty and/or at risk of extreme poverty and
   social exclusion

AIM of YEAR 2010

1. Recognise and respect the RIGHT of each people to live in Dignity and Health ,
    
ensuring the effective access to the rights of health - home  - work - education.

2. Promote integration through active participation in society of marginalised & excluded people

4. Promote co-working and sharing knowledge, reflection, experiences and proposals,

5. Underline the responsibility of everyone in society to be actor of inclusion;

6. Reinforce the commitment of all major political players to take more effective actions.

The first part of 1st day (Thursday morning 9,30 11,00 ?) will be very important for involvement of participants. For this reason we must decide the THEME & METHOD.
From general to specific ? 
what are your suggestions in order to have a really concrete reflection, analysis, discussion from Rumania reality, confronted with fundamental principles/rights and with the European policies and practices

 FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT - LEGISLATIONS - PRACTICES  and their consequences both for the
  active inclusion of the exclusion consequences

 HEALTH : access & barriers to health & mental health as a right, institutional and
   community health services 

 Work : access & barriers to work  as active participation

 House : access & barriers to home as social cohesion & integration


If we maintain the idea of title : "sharing & participating" What are for you more important, urgent and priorities) theme(s) that will presented by speaker(s) Keynote(s 3-4)?

  The shame of asylum institution where exists, and of new institututionalisation. 

  MENTAL HEALTH & MENTAL DISEASES : prevention reduce chronicisacion  (chronic illness &
   poverty situations) and equity access in services of quality. 
 

  ACCESS TO JOB as participation and integration against

  ACCESS TO HOME : new experiences, against the ghetto building, but facilitate the integration
   and sharing diversity

 

OUTREACH 

 
  ABSTRACTS

 

We are calling for abstracts from those wishing to present an intervention. Listed below are the types of presentations available together with the Seminar streams and suggested themes.

 One Lecture Sessions - In plenary session, some specialist in their field speak on a particular
  topic. These addresses are formal with little audience interaction.

 Two Round Tables Sessions - A meeting where the particular topics is discussed by several
   experts including the results of workshops. A discussion/question and answer session will
   complete the allotted time.

 Six Workshops Sessions - Sessions based on a particular topic, involving a small group of
   participants providing brief interactive presentations with equally balanced audience participation
   through a discussion to assist learning.

 Posters Exhibition  - Visual presentations of research projects and /or daily practices for display
   in the exhibition hall. Poster sessions can be scheduled into the main program whereby authors
   are available to discuss their work
.

METHOD

Mutual learning', intervision `peer revue': through study visits and exchange of documents and material.

EXPECTED RESULTS

 

CONTINUOUS TRAINING for workers and awareness of the civil society:
 

1.  Exchanges : to facilitate transnational exchange between +/-200 Practitioners, Administrators
     and Policy-makers working in the Health and Mental Health and Migrants sector

2.  Knowledge : Mutual learning, continuous training for workers.
     To exchange experiences  & collect information on the legislation & practices about “HEALTH
     RIGHT & ACCESS FOR ALL” in diverse European Countries and analyse and evaluate accessibility
     & quality

3.  Researches & studies : to propose survey & research/action (for some East / Balkan countries)
     following the model - made daily and adjusted of SMES research action "Health & Dignity" in 10
     European Countries concerning the Health/Mental Health needs and difficulties and barriers for
     these people to access quality's & regular services.

4 Common declaration & recommendations : to present conclusions & recommendations to
     Administrators and Political bodies.
     Lobbying in EU Parliament for ACCESS TO HEALTH FOR ALL.
 

5 Online publication:to present in web collected documents, information & studies.

6 Media : to organize Press conference in order to disseminate the information.
